From a 3-0 Loss to Reaching the Top 4 - A Case for the Red Devils: Why Manchester United Will Win the Match Against Everton

The month of April has so far been a bumpy ride for Manchester United. Out of the four games that they have played so far, they have won only one. To add salt to injury, two of these four matches were of the Champions League quarter finals. The red devils lost both the legs to Barcelona. Making it an aggregate of 4-0, in favor of Barcelona.

Now moving past the Champions League, United has another match today which will decide whether they will be able to secure the top 4 spot in the Premier League. Everton does not have a good track record with Manchester United. Out of the 200 games that they have played against each other, Everton has lost 88 times, drawn 44 times and won 63 times. The last three times that these teams have faced off against each other have all resulted in a win for Manchester United. To keep the winning streak alive, Manchester United would most probably drop Ashley Young given his poor performance during the quarter final legs against Barcelona. Given the versatility and skills of Paul Pogba to play at multiple positions, Manchester United will definitely use him at different positions depending upon the status of the game and to keep the opponents guessing.
The Red Devils have more to lose from this game and with their recent loss to Barcelona; they are hungry for a major win. Given the statistics, the current team and what is at stake; Manchester United will definitely perform better and win the game against Everton.
The match will start at 5:30 PM (PST).
